Vinayachandran and Sindhu are an ideal couple who deeply love each other, as noted by their neighbors Nambiarettan and Shoshammetathi. Vinayan has recently joined a reputed public school as a Malayalam teacher. His passion for teaching the regional language is portrayed as a politically progressive stance, which he demonstrates through his unconventional and engaging teaching methods that quickly win over his students.

Complications arise when Sindhu’s younger sister Bala comes to visit them. The young and impressionable Bala develops romantic feelings for Vinayachandran, creating significant tension in the couple’s relationship.
