Set in the culturally rich urban center of Pondicherry, “Theatre” explores the life of Das, a cowherd who harbors a secret passion for acting. As Das becomes more involved with a diverse and cosmopolitan theatre troupe under the stern guidance of an inexperienced director, tensions simmer among the group. The arrival of Guna, a former funeral drummer turned stage musician, brings past conflicts to the surface, challenging their unity and creative pursuit.
