## Pranayakaalam: A Tale of Forbidden Young Love in Modern Kerala
Pranayakaalam (Season of Love) is a 2007 Malayalam romantic drama that explores the passionate yet challenging relationship between two young lovers, Renjith (Ajmal Ameer) and Maria Varghese (Vimala Raman). The film is set against the backdrop of contemporary Kerala, where the duo meet by chance and gradually fall deeply in love. Their romance is tested by the strict expectations and opposition of their families, especially given the conservative values held by their parents, resulting in emotional turmoil and repeated obstacles as they struggle to remain together.
