## Kudamattam: Love and Loyalties Entwined at a Village Festival
Kudamattam is a 1997 Malayalam-language romantic action drama film set against the vibrant backdrop of a traditional village festival. The story follows Appukuttan and Gauri, whose playful encounters eventually blossom into love. However, Gauri’s brother, Sivan Kutti, stands as a formidable obstacle, harboring his own plans and priorities for his sister’s future, leading to a narrative filled with familial conflict, heartfelt emotions, and the color of rural festivities.
The film is directed and produced by Sundar Das, crafted from a screenplay by Navaz Babu.
