## Abhay Jodhpurkar: The Multilingual Melodist of Indian Cinema
Abhay Jodhpurkar is an acclaimed Indian playback singer, widely recognized for his versatile singing across multiple Indian languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Marathi. Born in Sendhwa, Madhya Pradesh, Abhay’s musical journey began early, with an impressive record of national-level competition wins from the age of five. He holds a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, and further honed his craft at A.R. Rahman’s KM Music Conservatory, where he received formal training in both Hindustani and Qawwali music.
Abhay’s playback career commenced with the Kannada film “God Father” in 2012 and gained major momentum through his soulful rendition of “Moongil Thottam” in Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film “Kadal.” His Malayalam debut came with the film “Aakashvani” in 2016, and he has continued to contribute to the Malayalam music industry, notably through performances on platforms such as Kappa TV’s ‘Music Mojo.’ His Hindi cinema breakthrough arrived with “Mere Naam Tu” from the Bollywood film “Zero” in 2018. Abhay has also made his mark with popular tracks like “E Sanje Eke Jaruthide” in Kannada and has collaborated with leading composers, including A.R. Rahman, for studio albums and concerts.
