Synopsis കഥാസംഗ്രഹം

In this whimsical fantasy comedy-drama, a young man named Boney finds his ordinary life turned upside down when he is falsely accused of a crime and sentenced to 14 days in remand at a sub-jail. During his unexpected incarceration, he encounters an extraordinary companion—a talking housefly—whose unique perspective and companionship transforms his bleak prison experience into something magical and meaningful.

As Boney and the fly, whom he affectionately names Lovely, form an unlikely bond within the confines of their cell, he creates a small home for his new friend, discovering comfort and connection in the most unlikely of circumstances. Their friendship becomes a source of solace and wonder, offering Boney a refuge from the injustice he faces and the despair that surrounds him.

After his release on bail, Boney finds himself yearning to return to the sub-jail, not for punishment but to reunite with his cherished friend Lovely, who has similarly been left behind. The narrative culminates in their eventual reunion on a hillside, where Boney has mysteriously gained the superpower to predict others’ movements—a gift born from his extraordinary friendship with a humble housefly that taught him the true meaning of connection and belonging.
