Mayilpeelikkavu is a 1998 Malayalam mystery thriller film directed by the duo Anil-Babu and is notable for its intriguing blend of reincarnation and revenge, drawing inspiration from the American movie “Dead Again”. The climax reveals the resolution—Vallyathan’s misdeeds are exposed, resulting in his demise, and the cycle of tragic fate is finally broken, allowing Manu and Gayathri to have a happy ending.​
